I hope Charlie goes buckwild at his bachelor party and screws everything walking and returns to the Charlie of old. If not it's time to cancel the show because it's done.

You know what I’m thinking? This would be the perfect opportunity for Rose to show up and ruin the engagement/wedding.

The show is designed around Charlie's (hyperbole) meaningless relationships. If they decided to run with the marriage angle the sitcom would be destroyed in one fell swoop. Part of any sitcom's appeal is having a distinct plot/story that people can get behind and support. Taking away Charlie's lavish lifestyle would tarnish the very image people have developed of the show.

Why not? I love this season, Charlie is too freaking old to be out there anyway.
