I guess that you could say that, in this case, the number forty has a tripple meaning. In the first place, my post titled "Ten Little Indians" has forty views. That post was itself one with a "Sesame Street" tie-in. Usually, my "Sesame Street" posts are in regards to previous threads that have no responses in which I write about the number of views they have. Well, even though this one has three responses, I have still decided to write about the fact that it has forty views. When "Sesame Street" first came out, the highest number they would teach about was five. By the late eighties, they went as high as forty! Oh how the times had changed! I remember an episode in which there was an organization called "Club 40". Although I do not remember all of the details, I know that Telly Monster, Baby Bear and some of the kids would hang out on the street, eat popcorn and do various activities pertaining to the number of the day. Another way in which this number ties into the equation is that this year, "Sesame Street" is now forty years old! Happy birthday to a great show! In other news, so far this evening, I have noticed new posts on the pages of "Facts of Life", "The Odd Couple", and "Three's Company". I have already responded to one of the two new threads on the "Three's Company" page. Because it looks like the board as a whole is getting more action, I have decided to strike while the iron is hot and try to stimulate some conversation about this fine show!
