I need someone to pick up a few things for me from those sites (actually one show in particular for now).

If you've been able to save content off these sites, please PM me.

Well for hulu, I've tried every piece of software ever invented for this kind of job... nothing works on this site (even though they seem to work on other "tube" type sites).

Today, I tried the only thing left to do... I hooked up my computer to my DVR, played the file in full screen, and recorded the episodes in "real time".

I did an episode of White Shadow - season 3 (doesn't look like they'll ever release the 3rd season).

I was lucky, they had a regular version and a HQ (high quality) version of the first episode. Obviously I played the HQ version and the recording went fine but I had a couple of things running in the background on my PC (one of them was software to by-pass their out of the U.S. restrictions .... very frustrating) and I lost the full screen recording, so I have to do it over again in the morning.... and turn off some things (like screen savers) that will interrupt the recording.

The good news is I was able to record .... the bad news is, every episode has to be done in real time (at least, it's only 14 episodes so it's manageable).

I'll give a better report on the quality tomorrow when I have some time to adjust a few things with my equipment and re-do the capture.

The hulu.com, sling.com, etc etc ...... download problem has been SOLVED.

It is now possible to download complete episodes (flv) directly off these sites. PM me for details.

What this means is .... we can now upgrade some of those gawd awful sets floating around with better quality episodes off these sites.
