I am so totally addicted to it. It is unlike any other show on TV. Every episode is smart and thought provoking, and many episodes end on a delicious ironic twist, or at the very least a very thought provoking note. And it is VERY realistic, showing a sort of behind the scenes look at how law enforcement and justice really work. One of the many things I like about this show is you can go for awhile without watching it and then just pick it up out of nowhere and still be able to watch it without being lost. Or you can pick it up in the middle of the episode and still get something out of it. My favorite of all the casts is the one with Steven Hill (DA Adam Schiff), Sam Waterson (ADA Jack McKoy), Jill Hennessey (ADA Claire Kincaid), Jerry Orbach (Detective Lennie Briscoe), Benjamin Bratt (Detective Rey Curtis) and S. Epahtha Merkerson (Lieutenant Anita Van Buren). I also like Chris Noth (Detective Logan). How about you? Reruns comes on 4 times a day on A & E... 1 PM 7 PM (repeat of 1 PM episode) 11 PM 3 AM (repeat of previous day's 11 PM episode) Sometime in June it is also going to air on TNT on Tuesdays at 8 PM and 10 PM, but it should still be on A&E. The current episodes air on Wednesdays at 10 PM on NBC. I recommend this show to everyone! Even if you aren't very interested in the law, I still think you should check it out and hang in there for a few episodes. I know several cops and a couple of lawyers, and they all tell me that this is about as real as it gets on TV. Great procedural show! Law and order: Special Victims Unit and Law and order: Criminal Intent. gail.mc 02-24-2002, 03:14 AM I just love this show. It's my favourite. Next comes L & O. Criminal Intent. We've only just started getting that in Brisbane, Australia and already it's up there with the best of them. I like SVU too, but not as much as the other 2 .
