I loved Koogle as a kid. When it disappeared off the shelves, I always wondered what happened to the best peanut butter spread. My favorite was Koogle Cinnamon Peanut Spread. It was very amazing on toast (I can smell it now...or can I just smell burnt toast?) Does anyone else remember Koogle?
I remember other kids talking about Koogle, but I never tried it because I refused to eat peanut butter (or peanut butter & jelly) sandwiches when I was a kid. I wouldn't even take a small taste, for some reason. I must have been the only kid in the world who didn't like PB&J.
I finally tried tried a PB&J sandwich when I was around 17 or 18 years old, and I liked it a lot. I actually prefer just a peanut butter sandwich (especially on whole wheat bread) but every once in a while I'll eat PB&J.

I remember Koogle! I had forgotten that it came in several different flavors. I think I only ever tried the chocolate one.

I remember Koogle. It was yummy in sandwiches, and had a goofy monster in its commercials back around 1974-75, with the jingle, "Peanuty Koogle with the goo-goo, googly eyes!"  I remember it had all different flavors, but everyone seemed to prefer chocolate.
Funny, I remember about 1973-74, there was this commercial on Saturday morning kids' cartoons for a toaster pastry called Krazy Glazy (if I've got the spelling correct). It was a competitor for Pop Tarts, and had a hilarious commercial where three goofy characters, a chunky sized man, a guy in a red rooster outfit, and this cutesy dimbulb blonde lady resembling Little Bo Peep would sit around a kitchen table singing its praises. I loved the commercial, and I thought the lady was gorgeous and lovable in this bizarre, crazy fashion! :happyface
Anyone remember that one?
