Last night, I finally managed to think of a topic to post about that someone felt was worth responding to! I was so happy! However, I would now like to talk about a pattern that I have noticed regarding the threads that do "not" generate any responses. On the second of last month, I started a thread called "Let's Have Some Candy!" In due time, it generated thirteen views and zero responses. I, once again tried to stimulate some conversation with a thread called "Straw and Hay". This post was about a "Sesame Street" routeen regarding the number thirteen. It was to commemorate the thirteen times that people read my post but did not leave their John Hancock on the thread. In due time "this" thread generated thirteen views and zero responses! This inspired me to post one called "History Repeats Itself". I am not sure how many views this one presently has but I know that it has no responses. In between the times that I posted these messages, I would also think of other topics regarding the show (among other things) to try to spark some conversation. Some obtained responses but most did not. Now on the second of this month I started one called "Action on 'Friends' Page". Now "it" has thirteen views and zero responses! Would anyone like to kick around some theories about thirteen being the preferred number for views to stagnate at?
