Yay! I hope everyone will please take a moment to vote for The Lucy Show. This wonderful set clearly shows that the DVD producers and CBS Home Entertainment put a lot of hard work into making it something really special for the fans. As of yet, there has not been any word as to whether Season 2 of The Lucy Show will be released on DVD. However, if the set wins this award, perhaps it will give CBS even more incentive to release the rest of the series.

As of yet, there has not been any word as to whether Season 2 of The Lucy Show will be released on DVD. However, if the set wins this award, perhaps it will give CBS even more incentive to release the rest of the series.


Season 2 hasn't been announced because it's simply not ready. CBS was waiting to see how Season 1 sold before investing any $$ in further seasons. When they saw that it sold extremely well, they started work on the second season.

It'll take a few more months simply because it's an older show and needs restorative work done for it, not to mention the other goodies that were included in Season 1's set, like original openings, closings, commercials, photo gallery, memorabilia, interviews, etc. This takes a lot of time to set in motion so it's going to take longer than we'd like for it to come out. I'd guess for late Spring/early Summer for Season 2's release. Wait and see.

But rest assured, CBS is working on Season 2 as we type...

Best news I've heard all year. Well, in 4 days anyway!

I said as soon as I got the set that it was magnificent - one of the
best I've ever gotten. Glad to see so many others agreed.

Also, I feel this award will boost the chances of the rest of the series eventually getting released, S-O-M-E-D-A-Y!!!!!!
