What's really disturbing on this thread is that it points out how the rural sitcom has completely disappeared in the last twenty years.
I guess network execs think the entire country resides in urban sprawl. :(

Actually King Of the Hill wasn't set in the country it was set in the suburbs.

But then again in todays urban raised writers eyes the burbs are considered rural.
