Hi everyone! UM has always been one of my favorite shows. I keep waiting for the dvds by season to come out but so far I have not seen them. I did buy the ultimate collection but unfortunately, the unsolved mysteries I love the most are not included, and those are the family reunion stories. I also love the mysterious disappearances theme, especially when the people have been safely found.

Does anyone know if the UM seasonal dvds will ever be published? If so, I will be the first in line!!! I was truly disappointed by the Ultimate Collection as none of my favorite stories were on there.

Thanks, Vonique

This has been beaten to death in other threads but I think the consensus is that this will probably never happen.

The original NBC aired episodes had a lot of time sensitive material, updates, repeated stories, errors and legal hangups. Plus there are probably thousands of episodes and I doubt the demand is really there. Yeah, I'm sure a bunch of people will read this and say "I'd buy it!" but there just aren't enough fans out there for it to be economically feasible in any way or to motivate the studios to do more than they have already done by releasing those compilation sets.

"Thousands of episodes". You got that right! I have a bunch of burned DVD's I made with alot of the old ones and TONS of tapes I recorded and there are still hundreds more I've never seen and don't have.

I wonder where they all are.

What?? There is NO WAY there are thousands of episodes.

UM ran for 15 years at the most?? At about 25 episodes a year that's only 375 episodes.

If you mean SEGMENTS that's something else but even then there are not THOUSANDS of segments. In the entire UM series you probably have around 1000 segments or 1000 different unsolved mysteries.
