I AM! I didn't realized it was coming out on the 3rd! I'm going to check out the Best Buy Store where I found Season 1. :D :D

Update: Struck out! There was 6 copies of Season 1 but 2 wasn't there I should have pre-ordered on Amazon!

Mine was shipped. Too bad they didn't ship it early like they usually do. If I see it in stores, I might pick up an extra copy and return it when the one I ordered online arrives.

That's not very nice. Do you not realize stores incur costs to have that merchandise in stock, and also incur shipping costs, costs for processing your order and costs for processing your return? And returning it only sends them the message that customers are not interested in Here's Lucy. It's a lose-lose situation for them. Either buy it and keep it or don't buy it at all.

Incidentally, I got my copy today.

It's definitely an option for a consumer. They do allow you to return products. But I understand your reasoning. I probably would have ended up buying the extra copy and giving it as a gift. But as it is not available at any of my local stores, I couldn't buy an extra copy anyway. No one in my area is stocking it and the one store that stocked Season 1 isn't carrying Season 2 this time around.

Sometimes some titles turn up at Best Buy a week or two later, after the release date. Or maybe they had a couple copies but sold out, I did get there in the evening.

My copy arrived! Did anyone notice the pink logo on the cover was changed back to blue? I like the blue better. Stands out more. I'm excited to have this set. Looking forward to Season 3 already. It will be wonderful once the series is complete. :)

Returns are an option meant for dissatisfaction with the merchandise. The retailers trust the customer to be honest and return the item for an appropriate reason. If everyone did what you're suggesting, they'd be out of business. When you purchase the DVD, tell Best Buy your plan to return it to them for reimbursement after you receive another copy from another retailer and see what they say.

Ummm, okay. :cuckoo

Jeez, next time I'll just do it and keep my mouth shut. You DO know that you can't control people in this world, right? If you're banking on the idea that consumers are honest about all their returns, you must be living in a different world.

I found Here's Lucy season 2 at Best Buy today (11/8)! Wow! The AirForce Academy and camping trip episodes are on this season. The on-location filmed episodes are great!

Rather than simply keep your mouth shut, why not instead just do the right thing? I'm sure not all consumers are honest, but I'd like to think most are. I would never do something like that and hope that the people in my life feel the same way. If you don't have a conscience about these things, there's nothing I can do about it. I guess it's the way I was raised. I find it sad that we're now in a time where someone can go on a message board and write that they have plans to do something like this an not even bat an eye about it. Maybe I'm just an old fogey, but I still have higher expectations of people than that.
