Simply mom and dad

Not on the list, but has anybody ever heard somebody refer to their mom and dad as their "old lady" or their "old man"? I think that is so disrespectful.

One of my friends sometimes refers to his dad as his "old man" but my friend is very respectful to his dad.

My dad refers to himself as "the old man"

I call him "Daddy" though. I call my mom "Mommy" or the British "Mummy" sometimes.

Ralphie referred to his father as "my old man" or "the old man" in A Christmas Story - I always think of that film when I hear that term now.

I call my parents Mum and Dad.

My Mom has always been known as Ma, which is what I called her.
To Me Dad has always been Dad, Daddy when I was under 10. My eldest brothers always referred to my Dad as old man.

Actually from time to time I will call my mother by her first name or sometimes I will call her Babs (her real name is Barbara), then other times I will call her mom, it depends.
