Norm Macdonald! :D is my fav Anchor~ and cast members I love Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis and I watched old clips of Dan Aykroyd he is was pretty awesome! and I liked Mike Myers, love Wayne's World and that's all that stick out in my mind atm~

My favorite cast members are the original Not Ready for Primetime Players: Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Laraine Newman, and Garrett Morris. The best WU anchors were Jane Curtin and Dan Aykroyd. ("Jane you ignorant sl*t!)

As far as favorite cast members, I'd go with the original cast, of course.

Since then, I've been hot and cold on the cast. Favorites include Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Chris Rock, David Spade, David Koechner, Molly Shannon, Will Ferrell, Bill Hader, Keenan Thompson, Cheri Oteri, Gail Matthius (yes, the one from that horrible season), Rachel Dratch and I'm sure others I've forgotten.

As for best host of WU, I'd have to go with Colin Quinn. He was densely verbose and metaphorical, charming and funny without being creepy or hateful, and he just always made me think and laugh.

The original Not Ready for Prime Time Players to me were the best SNL cast. They made the show a hit and after they left, it should have been cancelled. As for Weekend Update, the best anchors were Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin and Bill Murray and Dennis Miller.

Not a big fan of the Update. But Col was horrible !
