Recently, a pilot taped for the new syndicated version of the popular NBC quiz show "Weakest Link". The pilot is hosted by lawyer and former contestant Jill Chenault, who had the wits enough to talk back to Anne Robinson. Jill has no television experience, except for her appearance on "Weakest Link".
There are mixed reviews about her. I have heard that she did very well, btu she had soem problems reading the questions. She made several mistakes when reading the questions, and if she is unable to do better at this she may not be the host.
However, I have also found out that she is the leading candidate for the job, but other people are expected to be considered, and possibly shoot pilots, as Jill did.
Furthermore, "Weakest Link"'s syndicated version will feature the rules used in the 30-minute NBC special that featured the original survivors from the popular CBS show "Survivor".
