Scoobiedoo30 11-11-2009, 08:05 PM awsome News catlover79 11-11-2009, 09:33 PM Awesome! I'd love to see this show (I only remember bits and pieces from when it was on originally, because it was on past my bedtime!). bencasey 11-19-2009, 11:42 PM I have them all on tape from CBS and had started to dub them to DVD. Great if it comes out but I have the show covered anyway. catlover79 11-20-2009, 12:44 AM My mom said it was a very unrealistic show but very fun and romantic all the same. Marvo301 11-20-2009, 12:58 AM My mom said it was a very unrealistic show but very fun and romantic all the same. Yeah it was action/adventure mixed with romantic comedy. It was similar in tone to another show of that era "Remington Steele." cajunhillbilly 11-20-2009, 11:08 AM Yeah it was action/adventure mixed with romantic comedy. It was similar in tone to another show of that era "Remington Steele." I liked both shows. bencasey 11-20-2009, 09:58 PM I loved Kate Jackson ever since The Rookies. She's great in the show, although they gave her an unappealing hairstyle, probably to make her seem more housewifey. Yes, the stories were a little far fetched but the likeable characters made up for it. That's why I taped them all when it ran. catlover79 11-20-2009, 10:02 PM I loved Kate Jackson ever since The Rookies. Didn't they end the show because that's when Kate Jackson was diagnosed with breast cancer? Or was it because of low ratings? I did have the pleasure several years ago of seeing Bruce Boxleitner live at the Western Film Festival in Tombstone, AZ. He was there with his wife, Melissa Gilbert. I took a picture of him from there, enlarged it and sent it to him to autograph. He did in fact autograph it for me. I'll have to post it up here one of these days. |
