Nicole Jaffe was the original voice of Velma (1969-1973). Pat Stevens had
the role from 1974 to 1979. Jean Ward was Velma #3, and Mindy Cohn (best
known for her face role in The Facts of Life) took over the part for the
series What's New, Scooby-Doo. Nicole reprised the role in the 2003
direct-to-video movie "Legend of the Vampire." Trivia note: Nicole met Frank
Welker (the voice of Fred) on the set of the Elvis movie "The Trouble with
Girls" (1969).
