This hasnt been done in a while.

My favorite movie genre is documentaries. A good documentary will nail me to the seat anytime.

My least favorite is comedy. Not that I dont have a sense of humor, because I do, but the recent comedies I have seen have been anything but funny.

Should be no surprise but my favorite is a tie between horror and action.

My least favorite would have to go to chick flicks/rom-coms. I just can't get into movies like this; does not keep me interested at all.

I like pretty much every genre. I think each genre has strengths and weaknesses. The only movies that I have a hard time getting into is westerns.

Favorite would be romantic comedy. Least favorite would probably be horror or that anime or whatever it's called. I've never seen one of those films and probably never will.

Least favorite: romance ... but with some notable exceptions such as the classics "Casablanca" and "Gone with the Wind"

I like all genres including some foreign and independent films. My least favorite I'd say would be Japanese Anime.

I don't have a favorite genre. As long as it's good, I'm okay.

As far as least favorite - is "anything Sandra Bullock does" a genre?

Favorite:Comedy. Give me anything funny, especially a hilarious scene I can quote over and over.

Least Favorite: Sci Fi. Most Sci Fi movies I find boring. Though I love the Spiderman movies, those are an exception.

Favorite: Horror will always be #1. What can I say...I'm a girl who appreciates the darker things in life :D Runners-up: Psychological thrillers, dramas, fantasy (much like Pan's Labyrinth), and comedies (if they're done well!). I'm also a sucker for coming-of-age movies.

Least favorite: Chick flicks, romantic comedies, and most musicals.

Haha, you're cute! It's nice to find someone else who loves a good bludgeoning, lol. And you're only a train ride away, too ;)

I love any chick into horror. Not liking rom-coms is a plus.

I just can't get into it; I've seen my share of those type of films and I just don't have any interest.

Short time ago I was hanging with some friends and they wanted to watch He's Just Not That Into You and I could barely stay awake.

Oh yeah! My friends forced me to watch that one too. What was worse was their serious conversation about relationships that followed watching that horrible film. I was like, "Oh my god, you've got to be kidding me. You're thinking this hard about the film?" I just wanted to leave, lol.

I actually like most of that film's cast; Jennifer Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johannson... but this movie I didn't get at all.

Next time I have a hang out with these people I have a Steven Seagal movie ready.

I hate the chick flicks, too. I also can never get into musicals, but they really don't make any of those anymore.

Otherwise, I'm up for anything. Though like Mickey, most "comedies' today don't strike me as very funny. I like anything with a good story, really, but I lean towards sci fi or horror or a good drama.

Does the South Park movie count as a musical? heh

LOL, that one was pretty good actually. So was "Team America" which had a lot of music, too. Exceptions to every rule, I guess. ;)

My favorite type of movie is the "coming of age" film that shows the way young people start dealing with adulthood -- movies such as "Diner" "Fandango", and "Crossing the Bridge".

I also like Mafia movies, World War II movies, Westerns, and any kind of political thriller.

The only kinds of movies that I don't like are horror movies (they really scare the hell out of me:faint:) and comedies that have too much crude or offensive humor.

I like comedies mostly, but it's the older comedies I like, not too many of the ones coming out recently.

Least favorite - Not much a fan of action films, westerns, and torture horror. Also not a fan of the "cartoon movies" so I haven't seen any of the Pixar movies, and I'm not really in a hurry to.

Like: Cartoons (both, layout like earlier Disney movies, and computer genetic like Shrek, etc.) Action. Suspense. Comedy, as long as it isn't gross (i.e: 'Waiting!')

Dislike: Ghost stories/horror. I believe in that stuff. It freaks me out to think somebody (or thing) could not be behind you one minute, but THEIR the next. Yea, I'm a chicken. lol.

Favorite: Horror...after that scifi, action, fantasy, comedy, animation(though my tastes are more aimed at Ralph Bakshi films)

I don't have a least favorite genre because there are films within each genre I like- Harold and Maude is a brilliant rom-com, and I like When Harry Met Sally....plus I love B-rom-coms like Psychos In Love, and Lunatics: A Love Story

Musicals- love the original Willy Wonka, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hard Day's Night, Yellow Submarine, Help!, Head, Tommy, Rocky Horror, Cannibal The Musical...more recently I've enjoyed Poultrygeist, Across The Universe....

Docus- American Movie, Brother's Keeper, Crumb, The Century Plaza, Errol Morris' films
