I was on an Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet board and one of the links was to the SO subforum for the show. I started posting there (and with the help of Janice :heart:) discovered Chit Chat & the other forums/subforums. Been hooked ever since!

I too was on an Ozzie and Harriet board looking for some information on June Blair which ultimately brought me here by a series of links. Since then I have purchased several O& H dvd's. I had forgotten how much I liked that series! I just adore Ozzie! The show has such subtle humor.:D

There are a TON of us folks here who were also at Yesterdayland (another similar website that's been defunct since early 2003). I noticed most of us YL folks registered here in 2002, so my guess is someone at YL posted a link to here and that's how I found SO.

I seriously have no memory of finding this page, and I can remember how I found all the other boards I'm currently registered at. :crazy: :lol:

I'm mighty glad I registered when I did, though. Even if I don't remember doing so. ;) :lol: I do kinda wish I'd joined earlier, just for a cool 2000 or 2001 join date. Heh. Mid-2002 isn't bad, tho :)

I'm a member of the Zap2it forums and some of their members would post links to Pavan's blog. I'm now one of those members. :)

That's almost how I found about it. I started going on the TVLand message board when Wings was starting to be shown on that channel(or was it Nickelodeon?). I met Kristen(Chocoholic) on those boards. The people on there would aggravate me, because they would go on shows boards and say that this show sucks or that show sucks. I'm thinking if you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to watch it!! You don't need to go on that shows boards and announce it!!

So Kristen told me about SO and how the people there were so much better, and she was right because here I am 6 1/2 years later!

I *think* I was searching for Gidget stuff when the show was first on TV Land.

I found SO because of TVTOME(RIP TVTOME :( ) I was on "The Cosby Show!" forum, and it said, "Here are other forums where you can find the Cosby Show!" And SO was one of the "other forums.":) And here i am.:D

I was part of the huge wave of folks back in 2000-2001 who found the site due to Nick at Nite's running of The Facts of Life and wanting more info on it. Specifically, I was looking for the theme song.

I was at Boy Meets World message board and someone told me about SO, and the rest is history ;)

I found SO last year when I was looking for info on Unsolved Mysteries. I do wish I would have found SO sooner.

I was searching for info about Bewtiched and looking for a 1960's forum, and found this place. I'm glad I did. :)

I was searching for sites for the show for Family Matters, and this came up on google, and since I love sitcoms I registrated. :D

It was March 2000. I had just gotten my first computer and I discovered a lot of television websites. I just started going to them. One of them was Tim's TV Showcase and they had links over there to SO. That's how I found the site. For the first few years I would visit a few times a week. I usually just used the main page and the different links and I played the tv theme songs. I would read the message boards maybe once a week. I didn't register until June 2003 though. Even then, if a message hadn't come up on my screen saying I had to be a member to read the boards, I probably wouldn't have registered. I don't understand why it even said that. It must have been fate wanting me to join. lol

I am a moderator on a Seinfeld board and I was getting frustrated because either no one would post or all we would see on their was spam or porn stuff. I was constantly deleting it. I finally got sick of it and tried other boards but they weren't very active. I did a search for Seinfeld message board and this one appeared. Wow, talk about a goldmine!!!! I was warmly welcomed by some of the members via PM's and to this day I have kept probably 99% of the PM's that I get.

I think it may have been through Tim's TV Showcase that I discovered this site. I can't remember exactly how, but I was probably looking for information on shows like Taxi and Family Ties. I joined in December 2004, so probably discovered the website sometime in late November (unless I actually registered the day I found SO.)

I think it was just a random web search.

i was looking for a caroline in the city forum, as the original fan site was taken down and so i did a search and up popped up sitcoms online. glad i did just that! i love it here! :D

I did a Google search for "Three's Company" back in 2004. I didn't find my way to Chit Chat until 2006.

I remember when this site used to be a Happy Days fansite back in 1997. Then it got a forum and became SitcomsOnline; I think I rediscovered it in a search when I wanted to find a forum about the show Laverne and Shirley (which, ironically, spun off of Happy Days!).

Searching for information about Bill Bixby and The Courtship of Eddie's Father; this was back in 2001; but it was my love of Barney Miller, that made me signed up for this site (back in 2003) :)

I went to Happy Days Online a whole bunch in 2001, then in December I finally registered....again I have 2 names here,actually more posts too cause I posted as a guest for awhile too LOL.I originally registered just to post on the HD board...look how that changed! LOL

I was either looking for info on Here Come The Brides or Knots Landing and the search brought me here.

I was doing a search on something Green Acres related and it brought me to a thread on that board.

Interest, in the Leave it to Beaver board, brought me here!

My story of finding this place began in January after Martin Luther King Day when I was looking for a new place to chat about TV and I happened to see this place and when I saw that this place had a TV DVD forum as well I just loved Sitcoms Online because it combined two of my favorite things TV and shopping and with so many great friends it's been fun here and this place is not just great. It's awesome here

I googled something like Old TV shows message boards! And here I am.And I love it here!!!:) ;)

My story is a little sad. My mom was going for radiation, she had cancer and while waiting in the sitting room was a magazine that had interesting web sites and one was Sitcoms-online. Sadly my mom age 83 passed away for the cancer was too advanced. This was in the spring of 2001.
