This idea was inspired by the "Not Guilty" thread.

Although we never saw Randolph Blake, the castaways' accounts built up quite a detailed picture of just what a conniving low-life he was. He cheated in just about any kind of relationship you could have with someone, whether it be employee, colleague, friend or lover.

Whom would you say were the other memorable off-screen characters of the series? My first vote would go to Skinny Mulligan: marathon kisser, champion apple-bobber, failed scholar and emotional pauper. ("My three dollars!") And if he got the tag of "skinny" instead of Gilligan, how thin do you suppose he was?

Maybe he was really fat. You know like when some tall people get nicknamed shorty.

What about Alice McNeil, in the Vagabond Lady?

Gilligan mentions wearing his brothers shirt in one episode. It would be funny to see what he was like. Maybe he was a genius or something to that effect.

Gilligan mentions more family members than anyone. There are his parents (of whom he speaks very fondly), brother and sister, grandmother, grandfather Everett, Aunt Sarah, Aunt Martha, cousin Rudolph, and two deceased uncles, Ramsey and John.

On the flipside, the Professor is the only castaway who never mentions a single member of his family.

hmm, as a child he was too busy studying to notice his family. ;)
