(The girls are watching the game at home in the Kramden apartment.)

Trixie: "Well, the boys will be home any minute from the Raccoon meeting. They must be beaming after seeing this game."

Alice: "Yes. Be prepared for Ralph to start shooting his mouth off with him claiming that the 2009 Yankees are World Series Champions."

Trixie: "He won't do that this early in the season."

Ralph & Ed (from the hallway, yell): "THE YANKEES ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS."

(The girls roll their eyes.)

(The boys come in. The audience applauds.)

Ralph: "What a game Alice. I would have thought the Angels had the edge but the Yankees proved me wrong."

Ed: "Yes. Now, it's game 2 tomorrow. I know what I will be watching."

Ralph: "What is that Norton?"

Ed: "An episode of Hannah Montana."

Ralph: "Oh, what a friend I have. Boy, the Yankees are rolling in the post season. They are World Series bound Alice."

Alice: "If you say so Ralph."

Ralph: "How about that footage of those two dumb Angels players not catching the ball, huh?"

McGarrity (from upstairs, yells): "HOW ABOUT THOSE TWO ANGELS NOT CATCHING THE BALL KRAMDEN? IT REMINDED ME OF YOU."

(Ed laughs.)

(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out.)

Ralph (yells): "MCGARRITY, YOU WON'T KNOW A SMART PERSON IF YOU SAW ONE."

McGarrity (from upstairs, yells): "WHY DON'T YOU TRY ME?"

Ralph: "That bum. Well, tomorrow night, I am watching the game."

Alice: "No, you won't Ralph. Us and my parents are going to see a movie."

Ralph: "Oh."

(Ralph goes to the bedroom.)

Ralph (coming out, yells): "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? YOU THINK I AM GOING TO MISS THIS GAME. I AM NOT MISSING IT ALICE."

Ed: "Ralph, don't worry. I can Tivo it for you so you can watch it on home. Wait...I don't have one."

Ralph (yells): "GEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(The Nortons leave.)

Ralph (yells): "I AM TELLING YOU ALICE. I AM TELLING YOU. I AM NOT MISSING THE GAME."

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience cheers.)

Jackie: "What a crowd. How sweet it is."

(Audience cheers.)

Jackie: "Good night everyone."

(Audience cheers.)
