Not talking about the Weakest Link or other shows that are based on attitude. I mean when you're watching and the host says something that you thought was rude or impolite. Awhile back, I thought Dick Clark (not picking on him) got ahead of himself by stopping the players by 2 sconds on the Pyrmaid game before they ran out of time. I wonder if he ever realized that he goofed. The team was about to tie the game up before Clark stopped them prematurely. Anyone else have some opinions?

Gee, some of the one's I'm thinking of were rude occasionally, but in a funny way. Richard Dawson, Gene Rayburn, and Bob Eubanks could all do their share of ribbing, but I never considered it rude.

BOB BARKER can get kind of belligerent with his contestants on THE PRICE IS RIGHT, but, in a KIDDING MANNER, of course, and REGIS PHILBIN sometimes has his fits on WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?, by swaying his contestants, when they say that they want to WALK AWAY AND TAKE THE MONEY, when they don't know the answer to a question

One of the most impolitest game show hosts was the late Dennis James,on the 1966-1969 game show "PDQ",and I read once that he actually screamed at the contestants(anyone remember this show?).That snooty British woman host of "The Weakest Link"(which is now defunct-no more)Ann Robinson was rude also,as was the host of "Duel"(which also is defunct-no more)

I never though Dennis James was a rude host. He was one of the earliest and one of the best for years, even on "The Price is Right." Two hosts to me stand out as very rude. Anne Robinson of "The Weakest Link" and Joe Pyne of the short-lived "Showdown."

Now don't get me wrong.Alex Trebek is a great host on "Jeopardy!",but ometimes,(especially today)on "Jeopardy!"he can get somewhat rude at times.Case in point:At the beginning of its long syndicated run,he was interviewing a contestant, and a contestant told him something,Trebek said, kinda nastily like,"So?"
