"Trick or Treat" is my favorite, too (Darrin was really funny as a werewolf).
"The Witches Are Out" (the first Halloween episode, with guest Shelley
Berman) is a close second. But any episode with Marion Lorne, as befuddled
Aunt Clara, is a treat to watch. Two other accomplished sitcom actresses
appear in the latter episode: Madge Blake (The Real McCoys, Batman)
and Reta Shaw (The Ghost and Mrs. Muir). But 'Trick or Treat" is hard
to top. Those two episodes are the ones I remember because I have them
on VHS.

Bewitched Halloween episodes, the premise
and nature of Bewitched fits in perfectly
with this Holiday & it's traditions.

My favorites in order are:

#43 "Trick-or-Treat"
#81 "Twitch or Treat"
#115 "The Safe and Sane Halloween"
#177 "To Trick or Treat or not to Trick or Treat"
#7 "The Witches Are Out"

But i think all 5 are superb !!

We were not referring to one a season for the first 5 seasons, there were
Halloween episodes in seasons 1,2,3,4,6 only.

Would have loved to have had more.

As yesterday was Halloween, I watched all of the Halloween episodes from various shows I have on DVD. I watched all 5 Bewitched Halloween episodes in a row. I liked the one from season 6 the best 'To Trick Or Treat Or Not To Trick Or Treat'.

They are all wonderful but I guess "The Witches Are Out" would be my absolte fav just because its one of the first times (maybe the first) that we see Aunt Clara and her doorknob collections which is a hoot. Also, just love that sign that the poor dear whips up (Vote for Coolidge) just love that old sweet gal
