Anna Paquin ("True Blood", Trick 'r Treat) is starring in a new thriller called Open House, while her brother Andrew is to direct, reports IMDB.

The film tells the story of a wealthy couple in a strained marriage that hosts an open house in order to sell their palatial home. They are horrified to find out days later that one potential buyer never left their house.

"True Blood" co-star and fiance Stephen Moyer also stars, alongside Tricia Helfer, Rachel Blanchard, Brian Geraghty, Jessica Collins, Larry Sullivan, Gabriel Olds, Gerald Downey and Mia Riverton.

Grindstone Lands Paquin Psycho Thriller Open House

Grindstone Entertainment Group has picked up all North American distribution rights to Andrew Paquin's psychological thriller Open House.

Paquin managed to rope in sister Anna and her "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer to appear in the film which stars Brian Geraghty, Rachel Blanchard, and Tricia Helfer.

The film is scheduled to be released this August.



Synopsis: Alice's (Rachel Blanchard) open house event draws unforeseen interest from a pair of sociopathic house hunters (Brian Geraghty and Tricia Helfer). Hidden away in her own home, Alice becomes privy to the perverse relationship between her captors.

She realizes that David (Geraghty) has kept her existence a secret and finds herself involved in a dangerous love triangle where two of the parties just happen to be co-dependent sociopaths.
