Hi,
Just seen the post on season2 of "Rhoda",great news and I've just read the comments about the unedited pilot of "Rhoda".
Yes,the unedited pilot of "Rhoda" does indeed exist,I got my copy from the UK Family Channel in the mid 90s.(unaware of how rare it would turn out to be)
The scene starts before the credits, there is a short bit of music and the Rhoda logo appears and then the scene starts with Rhoda waiting in line at the airport, then Mary Richards appears after parking the car.
It runs for about 2.5 minutes, and is very funny,Mary keeps setting the alarm off and I agree with other posts that I hope the unedited pilot makes it on to DVD as a special feature.
I undestand the full pilot of "Rhoda" is shown at a special centre in LA.
Interestingly enough,in both season 1 and 2 of "Phyllis",the opening episodes have a pre titles scene,in season 1 Phyllis is meeting the insurance man, dealing with Lars' insurance and the second season,Phyllis tells a barman about her new job.
