View Full Version : Another death in my life!!
Jude The Obscure 10-09-2009, 12:07 PM I just found out this morning that a friend and former co-worker with me at Blockhead was killed in a car accident!! I AM DEVASTATED!!! He was just 25 years old and on military leave (he was in Iraq as an Army medic) visiting a friend in California. This happened on Oct 1st and the funeral is tomorrow. I will be going by the funeral home after I get off work so I can pay respects to his family, mainly his dad, who was a good customer (before I even knew his son).
And strangely he had logged into his Myspace a day before he died.....and now that page will be frozen like that.

Jude The Obscure 10-09-2009, 10:38 PM Thanks guys.......I just back from the funeral home about 1/2 hour ago. His dad was really glad to see me there and told me how much Nick really liked me. I was even included to be part of a party with his other friends to celebrate his life--I was touched to be even asked! On the way home, the tears just fell down my face........I don't know how much more I can take.
Janice 10-10-2009, 12:27 AM How sad, such a young man. Prayers to him and all of his loved ones. It's hard losing co-workers. I read the obituaries last year and saw that a guy I worked with for seven years died. I couldn't believe it. I rememer that he was always talking about his kids. I wondered how they were doing. Sorry to trail, Jude. Just saying I know the feeling, and it's awful.
