This is what Supermarket Sweep host Bill Malone probably would have said on the final episode of the ABC version:

Bill Malone: (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0961350/) Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last "Supermarket Sweep" program. On Monday, a new program will appear here. It is called "The Honeymoon Race", and it will also feature me, Bill Malone. I hope that you will watch it, 'cause I'm sure you will enjoy it. 409 programs ago, I had the distinct pleasure of welcoming you to "Supermarket Sweep" I could not have been able to say that then, nor could I say goodbye to you now, without acknowledging the contributions made by our friends here at ABC, notably the head of ABC, Mr. Thomas Moore, Mr. Edgar Scherick, Mr. Edwin Vane, and Mr. Barry Diller; their patience has been monumental, their loyalty has been teriffic, as it has been to those of you are watching. I'd also like to pay a special tribute, to four individuals who have helped so much to make this the 2-year success that it has enjoyed here on ABC, in particular our directors, Lloyd Gross and Peter Molnar, without whom we could not have done the program, and the great contributions made by our executive producer, Leonard Stern and our producer, Jerome Schnur. At the end of this program, I cannot - -there is not time for me to list everybody; you will see a full list of the names of the people both on the technical staff and on the staff at Talent Associates without whom we could not have brought you 409 programs. We hope that you have enjoyed them. It's been a great privilege for me to have brought you this program these two years; they have been the very, very happiest and most productive years of my life. We'll be seeing you again shortly, and so, for the 409th time, this is Bill Malone, for all of us here on "Supermarket Sweep", thanking you for your loyalty and saying goodbye.
