Hey, I was just wondering about the episode "Ricky Has Labor Pains" from Season 2. Does that episode appear to have missing footage at the end?

Because I was watching it on the Halmark channel and it looked like the syndicated version has about a second or two of extra footage at the end before the heart on satan closing came. I went back to the DVD version and it looks like that footage is missing because it appears they made it end a little to soon when they did the cartoon of Lucy and Ricky beside a little bell house and the bell rings and they yown before the ending credits.

On the syndicated version at the very end when Ricky and Lucy are fighting over that cup of ice cream and sardines it appears that Lucy wins the fight before the heart closing credits come and on the DVD version it looks like they ended it just a second two soon. Because you can see them still fighting over it before it ends.

The DVD version is still the complete episode except for that very end part. I was just wondering if anybody has noticed this missing footage on that episode. Because I've been watching it on halmark and going back to the DVD's and seeing what all they restored when they did the DVD's but, the syndicated version of that episode seems to have that extra footage that isn't on the DVD version.

I remember Ricky trying to get the spoonful of ice-cream with the sardines and hot fudge out of lucy's hand and into his mouth. I don't think I've ever seen anything else after that. What footage have I missed?

I think I have some footage that is missing from the DVD set. I will try to post images. First four are from Hallmark. The last three are from the DVD set (including the seconds in which they were trying to fade out to a black screen.)

If you look real closely at the last faded image, you can see Lucy trying to put the food in her mouth. I tried as best I could to post the images as proof that the syndie version of this episode might have a second or two missing.

Sad to say the commericals are taking over. They must cram as much as they can and dwindle the content of the show.
