View Full Version : No thread on the Chargers/Steelers game? I'm surprised
Big C 10-04-2009, 11:45 PM We've had threads for the first three Sunday Night games of the season, and I was surprised to not see one up for this one: both teams have some of the biggest contributors to this sports message board- Waterston is a Chargers supporter, Cybok for the Steelers.
Too bad, because it was an entertaining game.
Chargers came close to pulling off a miraclous fourth-quarter comeback, but fell short 38-28.
Great effort by both quarterbacks tonight- also, Antonio Gates REALLY helped me out on Fantasy Football.

When I saw the score as 21-0 I didn't either bother. When it was 28-0 I turned it off
Mr. Television 10-05-2009, 02:02 PM I went to bed before the game was over.

Hold on a minute, there buster!!
Did you see my thread near the bottom?
Chelsea 10-05-2009, 05:43 PM If this had been an NFC game the thread would have went on for twenty pages. Around here it seems like it's NFC, NFC, NFC start to finish.
Waterston_Fan 10-05-2009, 06:01 PM Probably cause they knew deep down inside the Chargers weren't going to win...
Pittsburgh is just cursed on the Chargers in the regular season... I don't know what it is...
0-14 now...

Sorry about that.
I'm on other message boards as well, and he, like you, is a Steelers fan.
I got mixed up.

Wreckless 10-05-2009, 09:02 PM Solomon hates the Steelers, cause they are a PA team and he is a jealous Cowboys bandwagon fan who hates that they won the SB and passed the Cowboys for most rings in the NFL on top of it. Bandito was probably at the game. WF probably wasn't on the computer at the time, and was watching her boys. I wasn't really watching the game. There ya go  ;).

For awhile that thread was just me and you, which is strange to be honest lol. But yeah, once people started to arrive in the thread- it was a long one. Last year's playoff threads in general were long. Some were 200 posts and up, with everybody in their. Pretty cool.
