View Full Version : Do you have other usernames on the Internet?
Sharop 10-04-2009, 05:29 PM I know many people stick to one username when they register at different forums but I've got a small list of different names that I've had when posting at other websites. Offhand, I've been known (and in some cases still am known) at other message boards as:
Bee Gees Fan (BGF for short)
Gideon (yes, I know it's a male name, but I like the name - obviously, everyone thought I was a boy until I corrected them.)
Ralph P. Carrington
Ocean
Gaheris
Tap Canfield/Tap
Seymour Glass

TripperFan 10-04-2009, 10:02 PM some dink on YouTube stole my TripperFan moniker so I had to go with The Original TripperFan but because of character limitation, it came out as The Original TripperFa
Schmoopie 10-04-2009, 11:10 PM Schmoopie
You're Schmoopie too? Awesome!!! I have another username on another board---princesslovesreporter. And actually I use Schmoopie on a Seinfeld-related board, but the spelling is different. I'm a mod over there, but it's gotten so bad; overrun with spam and porn links that I've given up on it. I think even the board owner gave up on it long ago. Can't understand why they just don't close the thing down!
Let's see... other ones are on a local site, I'm known as Seattle Romantic and on Youtube I am Bloofan 06. I actually picked that name after finding the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade from 06 in which they had the first "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends float and they sang "With a Little Help From My Friends". That's how I became a Foster's fan. I thought they were adorable. I tried to change my username, but Youtube says that if you do that, you lose all your videos and playlists. Oh well.
treky 10-04-2009, 11:43 PM on a "MASH" board that I go to, my user name is Eyehawk. (I got it from a parody of MASH that was in Mad magazine back in 1974).
You're Schmoopie too?
No, I was only checking to see if anyone was paying attention!

I thought that was kind of strange for someone to have the same username as me! Shows how gullible I am, doesn't it? ;)
phoebe7165 10-04-2009, 11:53 PM I usually just go by Blondie on other boards.
phoebe7165 10-04-2009, 11:55 PM I thought that was kind of strange for someone to have the same username as me! Shows how gullible I am, doesn't it? ;)
Yeah, I thought that was weird, too!! I thought Schmoopie meant something, like it in a movie or TV show that I haven't seen.:D
Schmoopie 10-05-2009, 04:58 AM Treky, just anofftopic: note about your signature. That quote from the Odd Couple made me laugh. I once asked my high school English teacher how to spell "assume" and that's the answer she gave me... word for word! Funny because it comes in handy to this day!
Doodyville10019 10-05-2009, 01:42 PM On several sites I am known as dilly_dally2u. That's my OTHER best-known nick (aside from this one).
TripperFan 10-05-2009, 01:49 PM on a "MASH" board that I go to, my user name is Eyehawk. (I got it from a parody of MASH that was in Mad magazine back in 1974).
OMG - I remember that issue - as a matter of fact, I think I still have that one along with "The Oddfather" and the "Poopsidedown Adventure"
Wasn't that one entitled "M*A*S*H*E*D" or maybe "M*U*S*H" ?
Sharop 10-05-2009, 01:52 PM No, I was only checking to see if anyone was paying attention!
I thought you were serious at first as well.
PlayOn 10-05-2009, 03:08 PM Regarding Treky's siggy, I say that sometimes (but change it 'butt' to make it a G version) Nice to know where it originated from.

Commenting on what you said to Treky, I had actually heard the "assume" saying from the original Bad New Bears movie. I don't remember if it's Walter Matthau who says it or not.:D
