The "Golden Girl" Betty White has reportedly landed a guest spot on the Emmy Award-winning show "30 Rock."
White is set to appear on Tina Fey's NBC comedy, TVguide.com confirms. Actor Alec Baldwin revealed how the show makes their decisions for guest stars, saying, "We all put names in a hat, and we took a vote, if you could have one guest star for the whole season, who would it be?"
White was the winner and she is reportedly shooting her part on the show this week. "30 Rock" has a long list of guest stars to have already appeared on the show including: Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Jerry Seinfeld.
"30 Rock" returns for a new season on Thursday, October 15th 9:30/8:30 p.m. central.

I wonder who holds the record for appearing on the most sitcoms. She's been on alot of them, either as a star or a guest-star.

Oct. 29, Betty White will be on the Halloween episode of 30 Rock.
The new season also finds the network echoing its real-life cutback mode, as NBC page Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) protests; Liz cashing in (and making enemies) by turning her "Dealbreakers" relationship sketch into a book ("a girl's guide to shutting it down") and TV pilot; and an Oct. 29 Halloween-themed episode featuring Jimmy Fallon, Betty White and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, who plays a comic from Kenneth's Georgia hometown.

I know everyone gets older and the lady is in her 80s, but I was saddened by how old and frail she looked during her apperence on Bonnie Hunt's talk show a couple weeks ago.
