for people that are fans, like and listen to The Beatles, if you had to have ONE Beatles song you could listen to for the rest of your life, and none others from them, maybe it's your favorite, you like the tune or lyrics of the song or it's just inspiring, which song from the group would you pick? you can have 2-3, and narrow it down, but be sure to narrow it down.

i would say for me, it's either "A Day In The Life", Let It Be or Eleanor Rigby. I saw a favorite Beatles thread in here the other day, so I figured I would bring up some more chat about them, since I know we have a lot of Beatles fans on here anyway :) ;).

Because - this song is so beautiful

Dear Prudence - I especially like alot of their slower songs

But then there's Penny Lane. I just always liked that song. Like alot of their songs, you can be a little down, then hear one of their songs on the radio and it picks you up and PL is one of my pick-me-up songs!!

I would choose Yesterday. I just love that song and Paul does a good job singing it.

Elanor Rigby. I used to have the 45 to Yellow Submarine and one day I decided to check out the flip side. I don't think I listened to "Submarine" after that!

From the first time I heard it, in the 1960s, "Yesterday" has not only been my
favorite Beatles song but my favorite pop song. Period. It's a classic (and
the proof is that it has been covered so many times by so many different
artists; but no one else has ever sung it better than Paul McCartney).

Right now I would say Something. I know a man would be really in love with me if he ever dedicated this song to me.

When I was younger I would have said We Can Work it Out

I have heard a lot of these songs mentioned and other Beatles songs sampled on other songs, whether it be the tune or in the chorus somehow. Shows their popularity, and love for their music.

Probably "Dear Prudence"...but there are many I love. Even "Please Please Me" is great compared to most of what's on the radio nowadays.
