Do your pets ever hide?

I have two cats. One of them, Cuddles, is hiding somewhere in the house. Sometimes cats just like to be alone. Cuddles is here somewhere, I'm just not sure where right now. She will appear from where ever at some point. I wish Romeo and Cuddles wouldn't 'play' hide and seek. They do that every once in awhile. :cat:

My animals have scattered from the room if I get mad about something or if I get really happy about something. Sometimes I see something on the computer and I scream(but in a good way). That usually clears it and they'll go and hide under the beds for a while.

One time I was supposed to take my cat to the vet. I saw him about an hour before the appointment in the house, and I made sure not to open any doors so he could get out. When it got time to get him, I couldn't find him anywhere!! About 10 hours later, he reappeared. Still don't know where the heck he went!!

I have a dog, and I don't really think they do the hiding thing like cats do. In fact, it's the opposite with dogs. They want to be everywhere you are, lol. They follow your every move. It's one of the reasons I love them so much. :dog:

Most of the time that's how my cats are. They follow me everywhere, esp. Romeo.

Sometimes Nibbles the female will hide usually to nap but not very often. Gambit the male hides after growling when he hears a strange noise, he also hides when company comes over if they're kids he doesn't like noise. They like following me around too and they like lying in my jacket or shoes, probably for my scent. They both like to sleep with me.

One of my cats is very shy . She hides whenever a quick movement occurs or any kind of unexpected noise pops up. She hates the vaccum cleaner in particular. She's also scared of strangers, but that's because she really only sees me and doesn't have much exposure to others.

Despite that she's a very loving and sweet pet; she just has some social issues. :)

My cat Cesar can hide for an entire day sometimes; while other days, he's everyhere. Both of my cats hide when company comes over. My late cat Foxy was a very sociable cat. We'd have parties, and he'd join right in, as if he was an invited guest, lol. He loved kids too. While the grandkids were going wild opening their gifts, he'd be right there on the floor with them. I miss that.

^ That sounds nice. :) Sounds like Foxy could be the life of the party, lol. :)

Both Romeo and Cuddles are socialable, but more so Romeo. The only person that Romeo isn't socialable with is my sister-in-law. I don't think he likes her.

My cat Gracie likes to hide all over the house. We have a lot of little spaces for her to hide in! The funny thing is we always have to know where she is, to make sure she's alright. If we don't know where she is we're afraid she got out the door.
