CBS is planning a spinoff from Criminal Minds, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. That show’s executive producer/showrunner Ed Bernero and executive producer Chris Mundy are involved, with Mundy writing the script based on a story he devised with Bernero. The spinoff idea would air as an episode of Criminal Minds in the spring. The show is expected to be about a new team of FBI agents, not current Minds characters.
