Those of you who have read my post right below this one know that I finally decided to join the "Youtube" community. They also know that "Shoplifting" is one of my favorite episodes and that that episode is uploaded onto "Youtube". I commented on this episode about a month ago. Well, another episode that I am quite fond of and that has been uploaded is "Emily Dickinson". In my opinion, Blair has a butt to die for and that it really looks sexy when she wears pants! I think that she always looks good in jeans but slacks are what really help her look like a goddess! I remember when she first comes in from rehersing for the play and her back is to the audience. Oh baby! Those tan slacks are hard to beat! For some reason, she virtually never wore pants in the later seasons. Although I enjoyed the show till the bitter end, this was something that I really missed! Maybe she suspected guys like me were around and thought that our reasons for liking her were sexist and degrading to females. Although she has a right to her opinion, I think that it is ashaimed if this is how she feels. What do other fans think?

Well, what about girls who drool over guys in tight pants, or guys who don't wear shirts? That's the same exact thing, right? Well, that's degrading to males. But we don't mind. Yet, we're not allowed to drool over girls in tight pants? I guess what I'm saying is women are human beings with feelings and men are just pieces of meat?

Being that this thread generated a response a few days ago, I have decided to bring it to the top of the page. Now that I have your attention, I would like to elaborate a little bit more about the things that I missed about Blair in the later seasons. Like I mentioned when I started this thread, my favorite way of seeing her was in pants. In the early seasons, she tended to wear a lot of jeans. I thought that they did a wonderful job of showing off her legs and her butt! Well, I would say that my second favorite way of seeing her was in a skirt with boots. In a lot of the early episodes she would wear dress boots with her uniform as well as with her weekend and after-hours cloths. However, as the seasons progressed, she virtually never wore boots! Would anyone like to kick around some theories as to why? However, there was one thing about her that I would say was consistant to the end. This is that she had a marvalous collection of purses!

Blair contunued to wear boots on occasion well into the fifth season. After that, I think she stopped wearing them because they went out of style in the mid-80's. As far as wearing slacks, she wore them often during the last two seasons with heels. I personally thought Blair looked best in skirts with heels. However, I should stress that what truly makes Blair such a great character is her intellegence and her heart of gold. :)

wow. Thats quite a thread you've got going. Totally agree about how boadacious Blair looked in tight pants, the great thing about FOL was that you had cute (read totally hot) girls to look at as well as gusy for your sisters and cousins. I figure the introduction of Jo lessened Blair wearing pants, they wanted to stress Blair's feminity and play up Jo's tomboyishness. As for the boots, I agree that they proably just fell out of favor. Cryin' shame, I love sexy boots on a woman. But Blair always dressed great! Now if u wanna talk hairstyles...
