I remember itr also showed "Punky Brewster" and "Beverly Hills Teens" along with it. If I remember, Maxie was a name brand doll back in the late 80's and this cartoon capitalized on that factor. It was the exact same thing as "Jem" was. I guess "Barbie" carried them both out because they left around the same time. Tobias Christopher 11-02-2001, 08:23 AM Personally I think Jem has a better shot of returning to television before Maxie does. Race's Girl 08-17-2016, 10:11 AM Dude, I remember that show Hawkee 08-18-2016, 01:43 AM Maxie's World was another one of my favorite cartoons to watch when I was little and at the time I also collected Maxie dolls and I had three Maxie dolls and the doll of Maxie's boyfriend Rob. And I thought Maxie's World was such a great cartoon that I think was a good way for Hasbro to promote Maxie Dolls and with an awesome storyline Maxie's World could've had a lot more episodes made if DIC Productions and Claster Television had not canceled it so soon. But I think why Hasbro also stopped making Maxie dolls was because they wanted to focus making other dolls but I got Maxie's World on DVD for Christmas last year and I didn't even know that Maxie's World got a DVD release but Maxie's World is so cool to watch Bestie |
