BUT.........Sony feels that all fans of the show have OATMEAL for brains and released a DVD Set called-"Fan Favorites"

Now you would think that they would include some eps from seasons 7, 8, 9, 10. or 11 since they are not on DVD, NOPE, what does Sony do? They include 7 eps on the DVD and they are all from season 2.

So basically you are buying the SAME SH*T in a different format and we are supposed to stupid to know. F*CK SONY!!

I mentioned it before but I do not see the point of these "Fan Favorite" DVDs.

Why would someone buy this DVD of randon eps. that are already out on the season DVD releases? Nothing on all of these DVDs are new.

So if someone would buy this Fan Favorite thing and want to see more then they would go and get the Season release. That makes absolutely NO sense since you would be spending more money on this DVD and the season release.

If someone is interested just buy the DVD release and forget this Fan Favorite thing. There is no point to watch things out of order.

Also, since these DVDs contain no extras or nothing new at all there is no reason why anyone who has all of the DVD seasons released at this point would go and pick it up; unless you're one of those collectors who must have EVERY available item of a show.

Nothing but a scam

Right, and I also wonder as to why the time and money spent on doing this was not towards more seasons that are not released.

Just a waste of time. Instead they should have released Season 7 of the show.

I understand the thinking behind the Fan Favorites because your favorite ep may be from different seasons but it still makes no sense to release it before the season is complete. Complete the series on DVDfor the diehard fans and then release that Fan Favorite sh*t for the Casual fans

This is my issue, "fan favorites" will be priced at a certain amount. A full season set may cost an additional 10 dollars more which would still be pretty cheap since the price for the full season set probably went down since they were released so long ago.

Nothing but a scam

Just like 3's Company, ALL seasons of The Jeffersons should've already been released long ago.

Same thing with Too Close For Comfort which is even a bigger disgrace for lack of DVD releases.

New DVD release? I was expecting the Complete Seventh Season, but they come out with a compilation of seven episodes from Season 2. They would rather buy the Complete Second Season instead of that "compilation".
