I didn't get to see the game but I found out after I got off work that the Bears beat the Seahawks! :( So that means that I lost the bet I made with Veggie-Tari-Jenn (From this board!) :lol: . It was all in fun, and I e-mailed her and told her to name her price! ;) Given the injuries we had last week, I wasn't surprised that they lost. Still, a win would have been nice.

the thing that is keeping the Saints together is their defense. They have a horrible defense, and yet the defense is playing fantastic this year. That is the key in the NFL. You can have the best offense all you want, but if you have no defense whatsoever, you are going nowhere. Saints proved that the last 2 years. 7-9 last year, 8-8 the year before.

:eek: :eek: Mike, saying the Giants are a great team and that they are the best/one of the best teams in the NFC? Even though it is true, I am shocked yet glad to hear it come from his mouth lol. I say that because even though he hates them, he has class and is smart, and realizes that they are a very good team, which I too will say, even though he hates them. Unlike Solomon who bashes the Eagles even if they beat good teams, and can never give any team credit. Just thought I would point that out. Nice work Mike. Very classy too.

I am happy we won. Defense looked a bit better than the last two weeks and the penalties were like no more than 5 today.

Next week is a big task.. Dolphins did have an 8 game winning streak going into this game... Steelers had an 8 game winning streak going into the game against the Bengals..

We have never won in a regular season game in Pittsburgh and I'm nervous about that game but would love to have some revenge...
