I noticed in season 4 Greg wore the Brown shirt and white pants in two different eps.

The ep about Johnny Bravo and the ep-"Miss Popularity"

Any more than that?-lol Was that his favorite outfit? Brown is a horrible color by the way

I wore a brown suit for my HS graduation photo. No one else will know because all of the yearbook photos were printed in black and white! Matching brown & white necktie too...!

The only other brown clothes I had in the '70s were bell-bottom corduroys (with like a rainbow stitching on the back pockets), and maybe one velour shirt.

You gotta love those Brady outfits. I have to keep an eye out for that brown shirt/white pants combo, but it must've been a favorite of his.

I once had a fashion consultant in the 80s tell me never to wear brown skirts or pants cuz it makes you look like a baked potato! LOL

I've always followed that......until brown became the huge colour last fall and you couldn't avoid it.

A friend of mine went to a high school who's colours were orange and brown and I always felt sorry for them when they were asked to wear their school colours for pep rallies, etc.. rofl

Yes. Greg did wear the brown shirt and white pants a lot. I found these in season 5:

152853
The Driver's Seat

152854
Getting Greg's Goat

152855
Out of This World

152856
Peter and the Wolf

152857
The Snooperstar

Greg looks good dressed like that. Was he wearing the same shoes though?

You could watch a bunch of episodes tied together by the theme that the character is wearing the same outfit...

A brown shirt, does that make him a fascist? :happyface

or maybe that was the Nazis.

I believe that Nazis are, in fact, a type of fascist.

The Facists were black shirts.

Then it must have been the Nazis who said "let he who has no shirt put on a brown one"

These were both Season 5 episodes, as are the other examples presented below, so this outfit was probably added to his wardrobe going into Season 5, and either he or the producers or directors liked this combination, and they thought the outfit looked good on him, so he wore it a lot the last season.

How about Greg's black and white striped shirt? AWFUL.
Did they wear their own clothes or was wardrobe provided?

Ronald Reagan made the brown suit popular in the 80s.

It's been reported that the kids were pretty much able to wears their own clothes on the set. I don't know if that was true throughout the run of the series but I think they mostly wore their own stuff from home.
