View Full Version : Please tell me what you think of my three 2009 fantasy basketball teams??
Brad Russ 09-27-2009, 05:02 AM I did three live online drafts today, and I've already joined S.O.'s yearly league, but the draft is still 27 days away. Anyway, please look at my three teams below, and let me know what you think of them. Please let me know the areas where you think I may struggle, areas where you think I'll flourish, Let me know which team looks the strongest, and anything else that comes to your mind. I know there are many fantasy basketball fans, and veterans here, and so you're opinions would truly mean alot to me. Thanks!! :)

Big C 09-27-2009, 01:23 PM Those are VERY good fantasy teams.
(BTW, in general, who's your favorite NBA team)
70s show watcher 09-27-2009, 05:49 PM very good teams but i was wondering would you use shaq as your starting center or as a backup to a starting bynum ?

Thanks!!! :D I'm definitely going to use Bynum as my starting Center. I just don't see Shaq being as productive on a team with Lebron James as he was with Phoenix last year. The Cavs have two other decent Centers in Ilgauskas, and Varejao, and I'm sure they'll wan't to give them time to play as well. I honestly can only see Shaq getting between 20-25 minutes per game, so I think Bynum will probably be the smart choice to go with. Bynum is only going to get better, and I have a feeling this season will be a good one for him!!

Thanks Big C, I appreciate your kind words!! :) As far as my favorite team goes, my favorite team going all the way back to my childhood, during the glory days of Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Buck Williams, Jerome Kersey, and the late, great, Kevin Duckworth. And then of course we had one of the all time greatest sixth men of all time, Cliff Robinson. That team of course was The Portland Trailblazers. The only time I stopped being a Blazer fan was when they became the Jailblazers, picking up the infamous Isiah Rider, and other idiots like Rasheed Wallace, Bonzi Wells, Ruben Patterson, and a couple other idiots. I'm a huge fan of our current team though, as it is filled with a bunch of truly good guys. I'm making the prediction right now, that The Blazers will win atleast 60 games this season. We won 54 last year, and with our recent addition of one of the leagues great veterans, (Andre Miller), and since Oden's production is suppose to go way up this year, we are only going to be better. I can't wait for this season to start, it should be a fun one!!! :D

Yeah, he certainly was the main person responsible for the Suns struggles last season. He did great last year individually, but he totally messed up the teams chemistry, and changed the way the Suns played ball. He forced them to slow the game down, and since he was clogging the lanes, he made it very hard for Nash to get his assists. Even with Shaq, Nash still managed to get nearly nine assists per game, getting the third most behind only Williams, and Paul, which is just a testament to Nash's greatness. Anyway, I actually traded away Shaq in all the teams where I had him in Fantasy basketball. He still does alot well, but his free throw percentage, and his likely decline in numbers across the board this season, was enough to make me get rid of him.
