In Marvel Comics, there is a character named Deadpool. (Feel free to read up on him if you are not familiar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadpool)

As you can tell, he is a bit wacky in character. One of his running gags, however, is that he is madly in love with Bea Arthur. (Ahem, not to say Bea lovers are wacky :-)) So I wonder...does ANYONE know if Bea knew about this? And if so, what did she think?

P.S. Deadpool is slated some day to have his own movie. A shame that Bea isn't here to have a guest spot in it...that would have been great.

Not sure if she knew about it but she would probably would have been amused. If I'm not mistaken she was referenced in another movie and I think I read somewhere that she was amused by that. I can't for the life of me remember which one though.

I know in the movie Airheads (Adam Sandler et al) one of the ransom demands that the radio DJ suggests they ask for is naked pictures of Bea so it might help them get a lesser sentence. Not sure if that's what you're referring to or not but hope that helps!
