Does anyone wear eyeglasses or contacts? I wear glasses for nearsighted or sometimes farsighted. Eventually, I'm going to hope to have Lasik eye surgery so I wouldn't have to wear eyeglasses.

I wear both, not all at the same time though obviously. I want to get the Lasik Surgery though. I have had a really bad eyesight for awhile now lol :mad:

I only use glasses for reading. And they're not prescription. Just reading glasses from the dollar store.

I have both (near sighted), but I always wear my contacts during the day. Glasses are a nuisance to me. I'm blind as a bat without either.

I'm nearsighted and have worn glasses for over 20 years. I tried contacts but they didn't work out.

I have some pink tinted glasses that I only wear at work. I was getting major headaches from the overhead lights and when I went to the eye doctor, she had me get these tinted glasses to cut down the glare. Mainly I'll wear them if I feel a headache coming on already. Sometimes I'll wear them in a restaurant if it's really bright but mainly I wear them at work.

I am nearsighted. I mostly wear my glasses to watch TV, play video games and if I'm driving at night. I also have colored contacts which I wear during the day while I'm in class, or if I'm going out somewhere special.

I wear glasses when I don't forget to put them on. I have a stigmatism and see better with them.

Wore glasses and contacts most of my adult life. Drove me nuts near the end as I was considered legally blind (400/20 in both eyes). I got Lasik done back in 2002 and it was the best thing I've ever done. Even was given a VHS tape of my surgery to keep.

I do however, notice with middle age that I need reading glasses now and light prescription glasses for driving. I got glasses made again for that, until they got to the point where surgery would be effective again. I may go back in a year or so for a "touch up" (luckily the place I went to, guaranteed their work for life, so if you're eyes changed again, they'd do the surgery for free). I went to the Herzig Institute.

I highly recommend it.
