As of today, It's only three months from today until Christmas. I'm not ready to think about Christmas. Has anyone done their Christmas shopping yet? I usually do it about the end of November or the beginning of December.

It's only 91 days until Christmas.

Its funny as I just watched The Captain and Tennille Christmas Special. It was lots of fun. I am so ready for Christmas as I was a Scrooge last year.

I love this time of year. Nice weather, football, Halloween, Turkey Day, Christmas. It gets me excited for Christmas though. Can't believe we are less then 100 days away. Everybody, what do you think. Over/under, Nov. 4 the first day each local station starts playing Christmas music? I say under. I think around Nov. 1st/2nd they will start.

But no, I haven't started my shopping yet. I have no money, so I'm afraid of what I am going to do this year for presents.

I love Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. On Music Choice channel "Sound Of The Seasons" plays Christmas music after Halloween. Every year we watch our funniest holiday movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation".

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I'm always looking forward to it. However, I usually don't start shopping for gifts until after Thanksgiving, and in the past few years I've done almost all of my shopping online.

I do like Christmas. But I hate shopping sometimes at malls. Lately for the past few years I do more shopping online or before Thanksgiving.

This year was sooooo damn depressing that I don't know if I should decorate this Christmas or not.

If so, then I'll be taking my Christmas Stuff down on New Years.

 He isn't going to get rid of Rudolph. So, we need to guess the to other one.

I have in mind what I want for everybody this year (except my dad and grandpa). I just have to buy it. I may ask my aunts to do that day after Thanksgiving, after giving them the money, of course. Either that, or eBay will be my best friend. Depends on what's cheaper.

Monika: how goes the job hunt?

The job hunt - so far I'm batting zero. I'll keep you all posted - but thanks for asking. :)

christmas will be stressful this year because i'm going to school. i really don't want to exchange gifts this year. i'm just so over the gift-giving routine. i'd just like to get together with everyone and share a good time with out the pressure of gifts.

not to be whiny, but i never get anything that i use. and i don't mean that to be rude, its just that i'd rather have them save their money instead of wasting it on something thats going to sit on my closet floor just for the sake of tradition. my sister got me 2 video games last year and i haven't played them once. i buy what i want for myself all year long so i really don't desire anything.

i'd rather decorate my house and have people over and share some good food and enjoy the season that way.

anyway, i don't buy much decor anymore because i have so much of it i never use it all. unless its something really special.i will buy more ornaments though, i didn't have enough to fill the tree last year. i got a new nativity set for the coffee table and i got a wreath hanger for the front door that plays music. it has a motion sensor so when someone approaches the front door it plays 'we wish you a merry christmas'

I love everything about Christmas. It is my very favorite time of year!

I love the decorations, the baking, the shopping and wrapping. I love the Christmas pageants at church and the programs at school. I love how excited the little six year olds in my class get on the first day after Thanksgiving break when I put on the "Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas" CD and have them make giant Santas to hang from the ceiling.

Most of all, I love the compassion and generosity it brings out in my own children. How they give up part of their allowance to buy Toys for Tots and absolutely cannot go past a Salvation Army bucket without putting something in. Every year I let them choose three things to put on their Chirstmas list (one expensive item, and two less expensive.) Last year, my oldest who was ten at the time decided that instead of her big gift, she wanted me to donate the money to Saint Jude's Hospital. She saw a commerical on TV asking for donations and she was so moved by it that she wanted to give them the money I would have spent on her presents. I have never been so proud of her. When we donated the money, they sent her a small Christmas ornament and she was so excited about it. She's already talking about giving them money again this year.

Christmas brings out the best in people. It is a time of year when I feel genuinely happy.

Vegas? That's very exciting.. I wish I was going to Vegas. You have fun in Vegas in three months.

Well, last year we decided to try and escape the 14 inches of snow we had (didn't quite make it but oh well!) and go to San Diego. We had a great time. Weather was a thousand times better than here although it did rain a little. Actually it rained a lot on Christmas Day but there were a few times that we got a little warm too.

My husband heard that Vegas has great deals at Christmas, so we decided to do it. I doubt they'll be having 14 inches of snow, although it did snow last year! I Googled Vegas Christmas images and pulled up a ton of pictures of the strip hotels all decorated for Christmas. Wow, that was absolutely amazing to see how beautiful it all looked! I'm excited now!!
