View Full Version : What Were These companies Thinking With These Ideas/Products?

LOL:lol: Coca-Cola is the CREAM of bad ideas/products...... They used to ACTUALLY put Cocaine in their drinks!   Then, they made "new Coke"(even though no one asked them too). The customers HATED the "New Coke" and DEMANDED that they go back to "regular" Coke(which they obliged).....:p

Lysol is next on the list. They ACTUALLY sold Lysol as a feminine mask odor spray! I don't really have to say that this was a bad idea, do I?:p

I have something similar to the Snuggie that my mom gave me as a gag gift last Christmas and it's actually quite nice. It's a blanket with a few snap buttons on it. I like it better than a bathrobe.

Coke was first made in the 1880's by Joseph Pemberton, a chap from Georgia. Traces of cocaine were removed by 1903. So it's been cocaine free for over 100 years.

For sure. Actually, there were other "soft" drinks that also contained cocaine. They just knew it made you feel good.

It's getting to the point with these energy drinks that they're not far off and also contain a lot of garbage not good for you. I hate them anyway.

Ahh, the 50's where you got your milk delivered right to your door! :)

biffbronson
10-02-2009, 05:02 PM
Yes! And my family was still having milk delivered into the very early 1970s. We had an insulated box that sat by the house's back door. I think my dad gave the box to the Historical Society years ago...

One of my older brother's earliest memories is that of going out to the box in the morning and accidentally shattering one of the glass milk bottles.

Our next-door neighbors' box was built into the exterior wall of their house. I think they could get their dairy products from an inside door to it (milkman delivered to its outside door).
