I know I made a thread awhile back asking you to post movies that you enjoyed, and I would rent them. Unfortunately, for several reasons, I've been unable to do that, and actually haven't even watched a movie in about 2 months. I will still try to get through them all, it's just going to take awhile. This thread is different though, because I want you to post links to movies you enjoy, that way I can just watch them instantely on my computer. Youtube has many many full length movies available for viewing, and so just type in a movie their, see if they have it, and if they do, post the links here, and I will watch them. Also, if you have Netflix, and if they have a movie you want me to see from their watch online selection, let me know, and I'll watch those as well. I'm also going to post some of my own favorite movies, and I ask that some of you would please watch them!!!!!!!! I enjoy sharing great movies with people, and would be so happy if you'd take the time to watch some of them, and let me know what you thought of it. Anyway, I'll start with my favorite documentary of all time. It's extremely inspirational, and touching, and I will post the synopsis as well as the trailer for you to check out before you watch. Anyway, I truly hope that many of you watch the movies I post, because I'll definitely watch yours. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the movie!!! :)

My Flesh And Blood (2003)

Movie synopsis:
Winner of the Audience and Director’s Awards at the Sundance Film Festival, the deeply affecting MY FLESH AND BLOOD follows one remarkable family’s most tumultuous year as it confronts a litany of daily routines, celebrates life’s small pleasures, and copes with major crises. Who says you can’t choose your family? "I think when I found that I could survive raising four kids, that it wasn’t that far of a leap to add another one," says Susan Tom of Fairfield, California, who has done more than just that, adopting 11 special needs children. For a single mother who receives only limited help from the state, Susan gives her kids love, hope, and as close to a normal childhood has possible. Her limits are tested, however, when her angry teenage son threatens one of his siblings. And after another child’s condition becomes erratic, the entire family learns that living for the moment is the keystone to happiness. Tenderly directed by Jonathan Karsh, MY FLESH AND BLOOD presents a family portrait like no other--a bittersweet and unforgettable experience filled with unexpected humor, stirring pathos, and an optimistic view towards morality. Movies run time: 83 minutes

I recommend you check out Thunderheart (1992).

Synopsis - An FBI man with Sioux background (Val Kilmer) is sent to a reservation to help with a murder investigation, where he has to come to terms with his heritage.

Slowly he rejects the intimidating tactics of his fellow FBI agents, who are not so interested in solving the crime as covering up an incriminating situation with the locals, and as he becomes more tuned to his heritage, the locals begin trusting him.

Based on actual Reservation occurrences of the '70s.

The movie was uploaded to YouTube in 12 parts. I'm posting the link to the first one and if you want to see the rest you can find them easily.

I will watch this today, and I'll tell you whether or not I liked it. It's obvious that you're a big Val Kilmer fan James, which is cool. He's always been one of my favorite actors as well. If you get the chance, and are bored sometime, please check out the movie I posted. It truly is an amazing film, and one that stays with you for years after watching it. And it's only 83 minutes long. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!!! :)

Yes, I will check the movie you posted sometime tonight and let you know what I thought.

Val Kilmer is one of my favorite actors. I have rarely been disappointed with his movies and the ones that I ended up disliking happen to be those that he is not the lead in.

By the way, I was very happy I got to meet him a couple of years ago. One of my most prized autographs...

I saw My Flesh and Blood and I'll say it was good but very depressing. Seeing what these kids and foster mom have to go through daily made me upset. My hat's off to her for volunteering herself to take care of these kids.

I'll also say that the kid who got burned I found the most hard to watch. I know someone who used to be a burlesque dancer and she got into an accident. Her face wasn't burned as severely as the kid in this she was deemed "not hot enough" to be hired as a dancer in most club circuits.

She doesn't do it professional much anymore but occassionally I have seen her perform when I'm out and about at clubs.

Also, I don't really know if it's considered a spoiler in something like this but I also found it upsetting that the "trouble-maker" kid died during filming.

It was very good though.
