Yesterday on my Yahoo! page was an article saying that CBS was among ten companies on a bankruptcy prediction list. (Did anybody else see it?) Others were Sprint Nextel and Macy's. I tried looking for the article but have been unsuccessful; the only thing close is from WGBA 26, the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin: http://www.nbc26.com/Global/story.asp?S=11188047 Unfortunately it needs to load some image before the article is seen; I just see four lines from it.

Granted the WGBA article has twenty companies, but still, CBS is on the list.

I read that, too. I'm surprised OfficeMax didn't make the list.

I tried a Google search, and I have found some more articles that Yahoo! omitted from its search:

Why do you think CBS will go Bankrupt

Well, CBS is still in court fighting the FCC fine over the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction." http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/publications/emailalerts/BreakingNews.htm

Why not just pay up and move on?

Plus, I think they'll be haunted by their decision NOT to bring Earl Hamner's "The Waltons" script from around 1998 to life!

offtopic: I think it is absolutely ridiculous that issue is still going on! How is someone accidentally showing a breast any worse than all those violent crime dramas that CBS shows? It's OK for children to witness a violent beating or murder on TV, but it's not OK for them to see a nipple

TV would be better if The FCC just crawled into a hole and died.FCC are around to put guidelines on TV so our little tiny winy children dont get scared by a giant breast on our screen.Seriously The FCC need to go away.
