He didn't make any excuses, he put it on the players (and himself) for the loss, said we made too many mistakes and didn't play well on any side of the ball, and also said we had way too many penalties, and he gave absolute, full credit to the Saints. I was shocked  lol. He really excited me today, regardless of the loss.

1. based on the press conference and his attitude changing

and with all the plays he ran today with the offense. andy almost NEVER did that in the past, and if he did, it was maybe once, maybe twice a game. i was impressed by that and I am excited for the rest of the season based on that.

He just said a lot of surprising things, that were appeasing to the ears lol. We'll see what goes on the next few weeks. I don't even care about Week 17. He just has to know how to get it done in the playoffs and in crucial games, to be able to win it all, but perhaps that is a conversation for later on.

This is the 3rd big game in a roll that he's played awful in. And Wade needs to get the hell out of Dallas. It's his fault for all the sloppy play. Nothing ever changes with him.

It doesn't even matter if he comes back and wins it. He's an up and down QB. He played an awful first half last week and then lit it up in the second half. McNabb and the Eagles are like him and the Cowboys of the early 1980's. Championship runs, great teams, made it to several NFC Championship games but could never win anything. I don't know anything about Danny White as a fan, because I am not a Dallas fan and wasn't even around by the time he even retired from Pro Football, let alone played in it lol, but I would say McNabb and Reid are just not clutch at all when it comes to winning it all. The Giants were as lucky to win as the Broncos were last week.

At least 5-6 bounces went their way, and they ran for fewer than 100 yards.

This is going to sound like sour grapes, but those bounces.... I've never seen a team so outplayed, yet somehow able to win.

They got away with it in a game where their running game let them down- they MUST do better on the ground.

Now, the schedule is very favorable- their next games are against the Bucs and Chiefs and Raiders- so they can easily be 6-0 heading into their game against New Orleans.

No I give the Giants all the credit in the world. One bounce was a fluke but the rest wasn't. The Giants took advantage of the Cowboys turnovers and won. They went into a hostile environment and came out with a win. You have to give them credit for that.

Those were just 2 of his great quotes. The guy is an idiot and I'm tired of defending him. We don't get much info about the Cowboys up here, but I know that the players are always idols to kids, no matter how they play. So I think it would have looked worse had he been drinking something alcoholic. Just an observation.

That was a good game, although I missed the last quarter. Too bad Dallas lost by 3 points in their new stadium though. They played a good game (the part I saw), however.

My husband HATES the Cowboys with a purple passion, even when we both lived in Dallas, so he thought it was hilarious that they lost.

Down in Dallas the Cowboys are treated like royalty. When Jimmy Johnson was fired by that a$$ Jerry Jones (whom I absolutely LOATHE. He makes me wanna puke:. He's so arrogant and self-centered.), they actually interrupted the TV shows with "Breaking News". I've never seen that happen over anything other than political stuff or disasters. I guess in Dallas, losing a head football coach would be considered a disaster!

Anyway, as I said, I've tried to hate the Cowboys, but I just can't do it. After all, the Cowboys have had some amazing players; Roger Staubauch, Danny White, Drew Pearson, Tony Dorsett (very cool to see him in the stands today!), and my personal favorite, Troy Aikman.

Both teams played a great game!

I'm not writing Romo off. I wouldn't be surprised if he bounces back next week. I think we'll be 8-8 or 9-7. That's what you get with him and I'm not getting on him after two games. My score is Dolphins 24, Colts 21.

I think Manning will get some touchdown passes, but Miami will do just enough to get a close win.

Good prediction. I think it will be by a margin of a FG as well, for Miami to get the win.

Peyton Manning is one win away tonight from becoming the Colts all-time leader in wins for a QB. Don't know if he will necessarily get the win during tonight's game though- lol .

I don't like two AFC teams on MNF unless it's two winning franchises like

Ravens vs Pats
Colts vs Steelers
Chargers vs Pats

? The Dolphins aren't a winning franchise lol?

I know what you mean, but you worded it wrong. You want two big name AFC franchises to play.

You could say him. We have a good defense and he was a murderer on Sunday- lol.

Giving him the nod vs. the Lions would be too easy. He is just a great, dynamic player.

I still can't believe that other teams started copying the WILDCAT. To me it shows that a coach lacks creativity if he can't come up with his own sh*T_lol

Teams adapt other team's playing schemes all the time. It's nothing new- as far as teams doing that. I don't see a problem with it either.

Eagles will be doing it a lot this season. Andy seems to like it, and because they Mike Vick now.

Nope, I remember a memorable MNF Thread from 2003 that had me Sonny and one other person talking during the entire game and i had so much fun. Since that thread it never happened again-lol

It was a MNF Game that the Cowboys won at Giants Stadium by a FG in OT

We have had some big threads in here the last few years, mostly for the playoffs.

They just said Chad Pennington was Randy Moss' Quarterback in college. I did not know that.

10-12 people compared to 3 is way more active, and their are more posts in these threads then the one you are referring to.
