coffield3 09-19-2009, 06:13 PM In support?? Are you mad?
phoebe7165 09-20-2009, 09:29 AM Well, I'm probably one of the very few who doesn't do Facebook, and I've never been a fan of Kanye or his "music" so.....
robyrob 09-20-2009, 01:23 PM so after the next one of his crazy outbursts, do you create a new support group for him, or just reuse the existing one?

Kanye knows that what he did was wrong, i'm sure he learned his lesson given on this backlash and he apologized numerous times! the girl accepted it and she moved on and forgave him! Why can't we do the same?
I'm reading posts (not particularly from this site) from people wanting him to die in a car accident and posts escalating into racial arguments all because he got up on stage and said a couple of things that I really didn't think was deserving of such harsh and hateful criticism. Boo hoo he hurt a girl's feelings! Taylor is an ADULT, she is GROWN, she is/was more than capable of standing up and handling herself. She'll be aight, she'll live, she knows this and she's moved on! People here and everywhere else are acting like he jumped on stage and punched Taylor Swift and then raped her. He's just a vocal man with a lot of (harmless) opinions. Would people be more satisfied if Triumph The Insult Comic Dog did it?
robyrob 09-20-2009, 06:46 PM yeah, you really gotta give him credit - it was very brave of him to go up there and take that mic away from that little girl and speak out against imagined injustices that only he can see and stand up for what he believes in at the time - and can't people see that he made all of those almost heartfelt insincere apologies??
Great. Another apologist.
I'll take a pass on this one.
Janice 09-20-2009, 08:49 PM It's not only the Taylor Swift incident. It's his lousy behavior though the years. He's always a sore loser at Award Shows. He's also very militant and radical in his views. The guy's a loon.
dakert 09-20-2009, 10:06 PM Kanye West is a punk. He said he was going away to get his head together--I Hope it is a looong time!!!
Why would anyone support this person??????
Brian Damage 09-20-2009, 10:13 PM for you or anybody who has to start a facebook group makes yourself look very sad and desperate

Taylor Swift is not a child!! She is an ADULT, she is GROWN. She is 19 years old! Stop believing that she's this dainty, delicate thing that is easily broken.
People act like she cries every night since and dwells on it. She forgaven him and MOVED ON!
HuntingtonM15 09-21-2009, 12:22 AM TStop believing that she's this dainty, delicate thing that is easily broken.
I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that you don't know her well enough to make this statement.

She's still a teenager. So she's forgiven him. That doesn't stop the general public from having opinions of him. He's got some serious issues. The things this guy believes and has said in the past are just nuts.
ABlairican Pie 09-21-2009, 02:09 AM I find it hard to believe that a bona fide "bad boy" rapper has to have a teddy bear for his mascot. Yep, right up there with Eddy and Vic Rattlehead. :yeahthat
He's just oozing with cred. He's identified himself with a child's toy, he acts childish by grabbing the microphone from a young winner, he needs a time out. :crybaby:
Sharop 09-21-2009, 01:52 PM Great. Another apologist.
Who was the other one?

i was referring to her physical size - she looks like she's all of 97 pounds, and I sure don't seem him doing that to a 50 Cent or someone that could reasonably defend themself from him...
Brad Russ 09-25-2009, 12:10 PM Boo hoo he hurt a girl's feelings!
You should be saying boo hoo to Kanye for acting like a child, and throwing a hissy fit over Beyonce not winning an award. Kanye was the only one in this situation who was boo hooing. And just for the record, I forgive Kanye too, but that doesn't mean that I like or respect him. As Janice mentioned, he has had many controversial incidents, and apparantely he hasn't learned a single thing from them. The guy needs to grow up, and stop making a fool of himself all the time. I mean how many times can people accept a person's apology when they continue pulling this kind of behavior time and time again?? After awhile, people are going to wonder if the apology is sincere. It's kind of similar to the boy who cried wolf story. After awhile people just ignore it, because they know it's insincere.
