Lisa Ling, who spent three years as a co-host of “The View,” will return as a guest co-host for two days in October, reports the Associated Press.


Ling, now a correspondent for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and CNN, will sit in on Oct. 5 and 6 for co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who's on maternity leave.
