Hey hey he's a married Monkee.

Davy Jones, the lead singer of the 1960s made-for-TV group the Monkees just married a woman who wasn't even born when his show was on the air, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The lead singer of hits including Last Train To Clarksville and I'm a Believer tied the knot August 30 at Miami home of his bride's parents.

Jones is 63 and new wife Jessica Pacheco is 32.

He has four daughters but they did not attend the wedding, sources told RadarOnline.com.

Jessica is an actress on Telemundo, starring in Dame Chocolate.

And no, none of the other Monkees were at the wedding. Apparently Peter Tork, Mickey Dolenz and Mike Nesmith were not invited. Apparently they were too busy singing to put anybody down.

I guess it wasn't just another Pleasant Valley Sunday for this Daydream Believer and his homecoming queen. I'm sure Davey let out a sigh of relief that his bride didn't have second thoughts and didn't take the Last Train for Clarksville! Can a couple with a three decade age difference make it work? Hey I'm a Believer!

Me: "Pleased to meet you [his wife of many years]"

Friend: "I'm planning on trading her in for a new model..."

Probably because his two eldest daughters are OLDER than she is!

Well, at least he found someone who isn't taller than he! Looks like in the pic, she's wearing heels and she's still short!

Well....what else can I say. *shrugs*

I do not like DavyJones new wife. Why couldn't she have been born in the early 60s? There should be a law against marriage of someone who was not born yet when a certain person's career launched. I hope they get a divorce after a few years.

Well, look at Chris and Adrienne (Curry) Knight - that was an ill-advised union, but they've now been married for 2-3 years now. So maybe it will work out, maybe not. You never know.

I'm okay with people marrying older people, but I don't get why Davy married this girl, especially if it's true that she abuses him. I can understand why his daughters disapproved this union. I can't see this marriage lasting too long.

In any case, my best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. Jones (*singing* Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and Mrs. Jones...we got a thing - goin' on...)!

Oh, please, Monica, she doesn't even deserve to be Mrs. Jones! In any relationship with an age disparity is as big as theirs, I myself will refuse to grant "best wishes" to that couple.

Agreed!

I just can't imagine. I think it was the comedian "Sinbad", who admonished older men for going for the much-younger women. He said, "You need someone your own damn age so when you have a stroke, she'll know what to do!"

Bumping this thread because the other day, I saw Davy with his wife on Dr. Phil. Normally, my mother doesn't watch Dr. Phil when it's about stars, but she was quite interested about this show in particular. We both agreed that Jessica was mean to Davy on the show.
