View Full Version : SportsNation Power Rankings on ESPN of Top 5 Teams in NFL after week 1 TVFactFan 09-15-2009, 07:27 PM 5. Saints 4. Eagles 3. Giants 2. Pats 1. Steelers Looks about right so far. Anyone disagree? GARFIELDKOOL 09-15-2009, 07:39 PM That's about right. I normally don't pay attention to what ESPN says or how they rate things, but that's about right. They should wait a few games into the season and then rate teams. Marvo301 09-15-2009, 07:43 PM That's about right. You can't really judge teams on one game. MrCleveland 09-15-2009, 07:53 PM Looks like the NFL is doing the ol' College Football thing.... TVFactFan 09-15-2009, 07:58 PM That's about right. You see I gave the Eagles credit righT???????? GARFIELDKOOL 09-15-2009, 08:02 PM Espn.com has the Colts at #5. You see I gave the Eagles credit righT???????? No, I didn't see you give them credit. Wreckless 09-16-2009, 07:40 AM I think the Eagles should be # 2. TVFactFan 09-16-2009, 05:20 PM I think the Eagles should be # 2. I think the Cowboys should be #2 Wreckless 09-16-2009, 06:28 PM I think the Cowboys should be #2 i'm not saying it, because they are my team. i'm saying it cause they beat a good team. the cowboys beat a dismal team, and not by much. the eagles killed carolina, who were very good last year as well, and are a talented team. icecream 09-19-2009, 09:25 PM The Saints don't belong in the top 5 until they've beaten an NFL caliber team. A high school team could beat up on the Lions. Mr. Television 09-19-2009, 09:35 PM The only rankings that matter takes place in February. Wreckless 09-19-2009, 10:03 PM The Saints don't belong in the top 5 until they've beaten an NFL caliber team. A high school team could beat up on the Lions. That's what I'm saying. Don't worry, when the Saints don't go marching in, and don't come out with a victory tomorrow, your boy Solomon will have them dead last by his standards. See he goes by whether they win or lose vs. a Philly team, not if they are actually good or bad or not. If the Lions somehow ever beat us, he would have them winning the Super Bowl. I am not joking. dlemond 09-19-2009, 11:24 PM I'll be honest. If Dallas loses to the Giants tomorrow I'll be seriously concerned. Well, not that concerned, I've got a life and all. And Philly losing tomorrow? Very, very possible. Same with the Cowboys.
