In The Evans Get Involved, Charlene, JJ's date shows up right after Penny does. Charlene and JJ already had plans for a date, I am assuming before either of them knew Penny. Charlene sees Penny's badly bruised back, and all Charlene cares about is her date with JJ, having little to no sympathy for Penny's bruised back. I understand that Penny was not Charlene's problem, but Charlene should have had some kind of sympathy for Penny. Even if you had never seen Penny in your life, you should still have some kind of pity that Penny is in obvious pain.....

I feel a LITTLE sympathy for Charlene because it must suck to have a date planned, and then some girl that neither you or JJ barely knows shows up and eats into your date time. But, Charlene should have gotten there 10 minutes ago, and they would never have even seen Penny, so it's kind of Charlene's own fault for showing up late(Charlene even says herself, "JJ, we're late as it is). But, I also have no sympathy for Charlene for the fact that she is a cold bitch. Even if JJ and Charlene had gone on the date after seeing Penny's brusied back, JJ would be to distracted by thinking of Penny on the date for Charlene and he to really have a good time anyway. I like how JJ told her off and basically told her to go screw herself, and she left. :) You can tell JJ was a lot more grown up and mature than in the previous seasons. :)

I don't use the word in my vocabulary but it is what it is and that is what Charlene was acting like.

No! ;) I refuse to say that she acted like an idiot, because she was not acting like an idiot. She was acting selfish, not acting stupid....
